The Pharmacy Museum and Qwensel House is situated by the River Aura in the heart of Turku, at Läntinen Rantakatu 13 b. The museum entrance is located in the courtyard, which can be accessed through gates from both the riverside and Linnankatu street.
You can easily reach the museum using public transportation. Most bus lines in Turku go through the Market Square, not far from the museum.
The museum is located in the city center by the Aura River, about 200 meters from the market square. The bicycle racks are located in the same block, next to the Turku City Hall parking lot, at the corner of Aurakatu and Linnankatu.
The nearest parking spaces are located in the same block, at the corner of Aurakatu and Linnankatu, in the Turku City Hall parking area, as well as in the Market Hall parking area, which is accessed from Linnankatu.
The Market Square and Louhi car parks are located within a short walking distance from the museum.
Wheelchair access to the museum is from the gate on the Linnankatu side.
The nearest parking spaces are located in the same block, on the Aurakatu and Linnankatu side. The entrance to the parking area is on the Linnankatu side. The nearest parking space for wheelchair users is located in the same parking area, at the end of the Aura river.
The accessibility of the museum building has been improved during recent renovations. There are ramps at the museum entrance and at the thresholds of the exhibition halls. Unfortunately, the museum’s route in the old wooden building is not fully accessible. Wheelchair access requires an assistant.
The museum has a one-way accessible toilet with a free space to the left of the seat.
For customers with hearing aids, the museum’s customer service areas have an induction loop.
Pushchairs can be left in the stall area for the duration of the tour.
